← Get Audit Ready
Before you notify us to begin your auditor engagement, please run through this rapid checklist to avoid the most common day-one audit traps:
- The Org Chart: Upload an org tree chart under People>Chart, and ensure every person listed on it is also added to your People tab with the employee role.
- Device Compliance: Check People > Devices to confirm every employee laptop is showing a green "Compliant" status.
- Hires/Terminations tracked during audit period: For recent hires, confirm each person has an onboard date set and a background check completed (or a formal external report uploaded) on their profile. For recent terminations, confirm an offboard date is set and the offboarding checklist has been completed. See the People guidance for where these live. Keep this up to date for every hire and termination going forward—and imperatively throughout your audit period, as your auditor will expect every new joiner and leaver during that window to be tracked here.
- The "Not Relevant" Trap: Do not mark tasks as "Not Relevant" without asking us first—even small teams must provide evidence for the vast majority of controls.
📣 All Done?
If your dashboard is looking green and you've cleared the list above, you are ready!

Also highly recommended: Whenever a Framework Update is available, apply it to keep your framework up to date on the platform - this can make the audit itself smoother. It isn't mandatory, but it's highly recommended. See Framework Updates for more on what this does.
