← Get Audit Ready
The Policies section is where you establish the formal "rules of the road" for your organization. To meet audit requirements, these documents must be active and acknowledged by your team.
✅ Activating Your Policies
Policies start in a Draft state. To begin the compliance cycle and notify your team, you must move them to Published. You can do this in two ways:
- Quick Action: Use the "Publish All Policies" button on the overview page to activate your entire library at once.
- Individual Review: Navigate to the Policies tab to review documents one by one. Open a specific policy, adjust your settings (like Review Frequency or Assignee), and update the status from Draft to Published.
📧 Employee Notifications & Actions
Once a policy is Published, the following automated workflow begins:
- Email Alerts: Every user assigned the 'Employee' or 'Contractor' role will receive an email notification to review and sign the policy.
- Portal Access: Team members can access these documents at portal.trycomp.ai.
- Compliance Tasks: In addition to signing policies, employees will be prompted to complete their mandatory Security Training within the same portal.
🔍 Monitoring Progress
You can track the health of your policy management directly from the dashboard:
- Policy Status: View a breakdown of Published, Draft, and Archived policies to ensure nothing is left in limbo.
- Assignees: See which team members are responsible for maintaining specific policy areas (e.g., IT, HR, or Gov).
- Last Updated: Keep an eye on the Last Updated column to ensure your documentation remains current for your annual audit.
