The People section is your hub for managing the individuals within your organization and ensuring they meet mandatory compliance requirements. To satisfy audit standards, you must maintain an accurate roster and provide proof of completed training.

🛠️ Adding Your Team

You should add all staff members via the People tab. Ensure they are assigned the correct role—either 'Employee' or 'Contractor'—to trigger the appropriate compliance workflows.

• Methods for Addition:
  • Individually: Use the + Add User button for manual entries.
  • Bulk Upload: Use a CSV file to import your entire team at once.
  • Direct Integration: If available, connect your Identity Provider (Google Workspace, Jumpcloud) to sync users automatically.

🌐 The Employee Portal

Assigning the 'Employee' role automatically grants your team access to portal.trycomp.ai. This is their dedicated space to handle compliance tasks:

• Accept Policies: Digital sign-off on company rules and procedures.
• Security Training: Mandatory training modules required for SOC2/ISO.
• Device Manager: Download links for endpoint security software.
• Tracking: You can monitor their real-time progress through the Tasks tab in your main dashboard.

🤝 Managing Contractors

Contractors are added in the same way but should be assigned the 'Contractor' role. This ensures:

• Distinct Categorization: Contractors are tracked separately from full-time staff within your compliance records.
• Policy & Training Assignment: Once added, they will receive emails to sign published policies and must complete security training at portal.trycomp.ai.
• Completion Monitoring: Their progress is tracked directly within the People tab for easy oversight.

In the People tab, click the person's name to open their profile. Inside the profile you'll find a set of sub-tabs.
